E-7 and E-11 represent two distinct residential experiences in Islamabad. E-7 is an established, upscale sector near the Margalla Hills with large homes and mature landscaping. E-11 is a rapidly developing multi-sector area with a mix of new housing and commercial activity. Both share one thing: high electricity costs that solar can eliminate.
E-7 homes are predominantly 1-2 kanal plots with mature gardens and well-maintained structures. Monthly consumption ranges from 1,500-4,000 units, pushing bills to PKR 50,000-150,000. Rooftops offer 1,800-3,000 sq ft of usable space. The proximity to Margalla Hills creates some afternoon shading on north-facing properties, which our site survey accounts for with precise seasonal modeling.
E-11 is divided into four sub-sectors with housing ranging from 5-marla to 1-kanal plots. Most construction is recent, meaning roof structures are modern and load-bearing capacity is rarely a concern. Monthly consumption ranges from 800-2,500 units. The area is still developing, and some sub-sectors experience more frequent load-shedding than central Islamabad, making battery backup especially valuable.
