What size solar system does an industrial facility in Karachi need?

It depends on your load curve, not your roof. We size commercial systems to match daytime consumption from your actual K-Electric or DISCO bills and demand profile, then model self-consumption versus export under current net-billing rules. Why do coastal and industrial rooftops need special engineering?

Karachi’s saline, humid air corrodes standard mounting hardware, and high rooftop temperatures derate panel output. We specify marine-grade mounting structures and Tier-1 N-type TOPCon panels, which carry a lower temperature coefficient, so both the racking and the yield survive the local environment.

How does solar affect power factor in a factory?

Adding inverters to a plant with heavy machinery can affect power factor and risk utility penalties if it is not engineered correctly. We design the interconnection and, where needed, power-factor correction so solar lowers your bill without creating a new charge.
